Our bone crusher is grinding well several kind of pig-bones, like blade bone, bone head and femur bone, too. The max diameter of minced bone is about 3-5 cm. By usage of the bone mincer, the bone could be more manageable and it becomes suitable for further processing. Pet food, biomass, biogas and fertilizer could be made of it.
The minced bone isn't by-product for discard, but it is suitable for further processing!
If the bone is chrushed and sold, you don't have to have it transfered to the protein rendering plant.*
It's useful to make an economical calculation: it could be a good investment for small plants, too!
(In Hungary, the meat industrial plants that produce by-product have to pay "ATEV" charges if they want to have the bone transfered to the protein rendering plant.)
